We are Passionate about Wool and hoping that we can persuade more people to use this wonderful, bio-degradable, abundant fibre.

The orginal primitive breeds of sheep did not have the huge fleeces that we see today so must be sheared to safeguard their health.

Thousands of these fleeces are destroyed each year as Smallholders with just a few sheep, often rare breeds, have no market for their wool

. These are the fleeces that we buy. When we have enough of a particular type of fleece Paul at Halifax Spinning Mill, Near Goole, East Yorkshire will turn these into an incredible range of yarns, batts and rovings of a quality it is hard to find elsewhere. This is what we are offering you!!
